Beckfoot Trust is an organisation that links a group of local Bradford schools together so that they can collectively improve the life chances for young people within their schools. Our aim is to create a group of truly remarkable schools each with a genuine comprehensive intake. They will be wonderful places for young people to learn and grow up in. We want to make a difference. We want to create something special.

PARENT COMMUNICATION

At Beckfoot Priestthorpe Primary School we use several tools to communicate with you. You can find lots of information on our school website at https://www.beckfootpriestthorpe.org/

  1. Email addresses

Office email – office@beckfootpriestthorpe.org to send us changes of name, address, mobile number or to let us know about changes to pick up arrangements.

Absence due to illness or other – absence@beckfootpriestthorpe.org Please email by 9am if your child is not able to attend school.

Parents email -  parents@beckfootpriestthorpe.org  to email your child’s teacher or ask any questions.

  1. E Schools

We are a paperless school and send most of our information out via email or by text. Please ensure you keep us informed of any changes to your email or mobile number. The E Schools app can be downloaded to your smart phone via the app store.  Here you will find the message centre, attendance for your child and the facility to book Parents Evening. Just search for E Schools Ltd and enter the school name “priestthorpe”. Your username and password will be issued to you when your child starts at school. If you do not wish to download the app then a smart phone or desktop can be used via your internet browser.

  1. ParentPay

We are a cashless school and use ParentPay to pay for school lunches, trips, book bags, charity donations, milk etc. You will receive an activation letter when your child starts, with your username and password. If you already have a ParentPay account, the letter explains how to add a child.

  1. Class Dojo

At Beckfoot Priestthorpe we also communicate about what is happening in school via an app called Class Dojo. You will receive an invite/link when your child joins school. We share pictures, videos, stories, and news about school and in particular your child’s class. We are unable to receive messages from parents via Class Dojo.

  1. FM Catering

This company provides our school meals. Lunches are ordered in the morning during registration. Payment of £2 per day is required in advance of the order via your ParentPay account, unless you are in receipt of Universal Free School Meals (Reception-Year 2) or Free School Meals for families who are eligible and have claimed for this meeting certain criteria.
