Another busy week at school as our summer term continues!
On Tuesday, we held our Bingley Foodbank Assembly and were delighted to announce that all our poster competition winners were from our Year 3 class, Lilly-Rose, Myles and Charlotte were our winners, well done on your fantastic designs! Our Year 5 pupils enjoyed a fantastic swimming session on Tuesday too, where some children also took part in vital survival practice. Thank you to all the parents and family members who joined us for Year 1’s class assembly on Thursday. Our Year 4 residential was a great success. The children embraced all the activities with enthusiasm and confidence, making it a memorable first residential experience. They returned this afternoon happily tired, with lots of smiles, and a well-earned need for an early night tonight!
Finally, we would like to wish all our fathers and father figures a wonderful Father’s Day weekend. You are all superstars! We hope you enjoy your gifts from FOPPS Superman Shop on Thursday. Thank you, as always for supporting our FOPPS team.
Have a lovely weekend.

Pride Beyond School
Congratulations to Adeline in Year 3 on successfully completing her Copper Music Medal for Guitar! 🎸
Having guitar lessons in school and practising regularly at home, Adeline has shown outstanding dedication and commitment. Well done, Adeline!

We love seeing what our children are achieving beyond the school day! Whether it’s sporting success, music and dance achievements, community involvement, or personal milestones, it’s wonderful to celebrate the talents and efforts our pupils show outside of school. Please email [email protected] if you would like us to share anything achievements.
Important learning information
We use a range of Learning Apps in school, which can also be accessed at home. Please use the links below to practice key skills.
Times Table Rockstars is an award-winning maths learning platform where children can practice their times tables like a rock star! Certificates can be achieved every Thursday for the children who have made the most progress in terms of the biggest increase in accuracy that week. We also run in school competitions.
Times Tables Rock Stars – Times Tables Rock Stars
Accelerated Reader will allow children to read a book and then take an online quiz to test their knowledge and understanding of the text, and receive immediate feedback. Students respond to regular feedback and are motivated to improve their reading skills.
