Welcome to Year 4
Our Year 4 pupils enjoy learning more about a number of different periods in our history. The Year 4 history curriculum includes Ancient Greeks, Anglo Saxons and Stuarts, whilst the geography curriculum looks at rivers, the Mediterranean and Africa. We love reading a range of high-quality texts, such as The Boy at the back of the class, The nothing to see here hotel, and Varjak Paw.
We enjoy art and using a variety of different media including paint, collage, sculpture and fabric to create our pieces. Our Year 4 pupils also have fantastic opportunities to get out in our local community, we do local walks looking at the River Aire, go to Leeds City Museum to study the Anglo Saxons and stay away from home during our residential to Blackhills in the Summer term.
